In a recent email marketing campaign we ran for one of our clients, we had an astounding ‘opened on mobile’ rate of 71%!! That’s right not 33% not 50% but 71%. Here at Fortay Media we have known for while that the future is mobile, but we still have trouble convincing everyone. Hell, we even had a recent client ask us to switch off the responsive element of their new website! (trust me it looked and worked great!)
So does that mean all change? Of course not, but when designing any element of your marketing strategy now you have to consider how it looks on a 4 inch screen, because whether you like it or not that’s where it’s going to be seen.
The punchline: If you’re not thinking mobile, you’re not thinking!
